Posted October 19, 2018 08:08:00 We’ve heard the cries of “wallpapers don’t work on Xbox One” and “the wallpapers aren’t coming to Xbox One at all.”
Unfortunately, Microsoft is only going to be releasing wallpapers that have a certain size and resolution on the Xbox One.
The Wallpapers section of the Xbox Store has a list of wallpapers and their resolutions.
If you’re looking for a wallpaper that is at least 640×480, you’ll need to go to the Xbox wallpapers section to see the resolutions available.
If the resolution of the wallpapers is less than 720×480 and it’s not on the wall, it’s only available in a limited number of resolution tiers.
We also found that the “wallpaper quality” of the wallpaper doesn’t affect the quality of the image you can see when viewing the wall.
If a wallpaper has a high contrast, dark or black color scheme, the wallpaper might be blurry, and it might look washed out in the corners of the screen.
We have also heard from some users that their Xbox One wallpapers were not working at all.
The Xbox Wallpapers are set to be released on October 26th, so it’s probably not too late to get your Xbox Wallpaper fix!
