Angela Sowsby is a freelance journalist who covers security, terrorism and the fight against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS).

She has previously reported on the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and has worked for Al Jazeera.

Al Jazeera: You’re the author of the best-selling book Al-Qaeda: Inside the Cult of Terror, published in 2018.

Why did you decide to write about ISIL?

Angela Sowers: ISIL is a new form of extremism, it is a threat that the United States has not seen before.

It is very difficult to describe the scale of its brutality and how it has transformed the way people live.

ISIL is an extremist organisation that has now become part of global politics, and so we have to think about the impact of this and the impact that this will have on the future of the world.

Al-Jazeera: How did you come up with the title ‘Al-Qaeda’: Inside the cult of terror?

Sowsbys: The term Al-Qaida is an apt name for what is happening now.

Al Qaeda is a group that has spread around the world from Afghanistan to the UK, the US, and has now established itself as a global terror organisation.

This is not a group which is in a vacuum.

It’s a group of individuals, some of whom have ties to al-Qaeda, who have been trained and supported by al-Qaida.

Al Al-Nashiri, a prominent figure, and the founder of al- Qaeda in Iraq, was also a key figure in the creation of ISIL.

Al Nashiri was the commander of the so-called ‘Iraq Liberation Army’ (SLA) in the 1990s.

He was killed by US forces in 2003.

In 2003, al-NASHIRI was also in charge of al Qaeda in Syria, which was also responsible for the murder of over a hundred people in the Syrian town of Palmyra.

So the al-Nusra Front is a direct descendant of al NASHIR I, and its ideology is also similar.

It has been a long and violent history and the group has become one of the main groups operating in the region.

The UK has been the centre of the creation and funding of ISIL, and in many ways has had a hand in the emergence of ISIL from a very small group of al Qaida operatives in Afghanistan.

Al Azhar, which is the supreme Islamic court in Saudi Arabia, is also a very influential group.

Its influence extends to all parts of the Muslim world and in recent years has been used as a recruitment tool for ISIL.

What are the main causes of this spread?

Al Nusra Front: Al Nashesiri is a leader of the Syrian opposition.

He’s also the commander-in-chief of the al Nusra front.

It was founded by al Nashiris successor, Abu Muhammad al-Jawlani.

The US-led coalition is trying to topple him.

Al Shabaab: Al Shabbab is the al Qaeda-linked Somali militant group.

Al Sham is a Kenyan rebel group.

The group has links to al Nashediri and al Shabbad, and it’s one of several groups that al- Nusra has allied itself with.

It controls a small area of territory in Somalia and has launched attacks in Kenya and Kenya, as well as elsewhere in Africa.

Al Katib: Al Katibi is a militant group based in Somalia.

Al Jund al-Aqsa is a branch of al Shabaaba.

Al Haqqani is the Afghan branch of Al Qaeda, and other armed groups operating inside Afghanistan.

al Qa’ida: Al Qaida is the name given to a group, the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham, which has seized control of parts of Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

The name is also used for the Taliban and al Qaeda affiliates in Pakistan.

Al Qaadis leader is Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Al Baghdadi is the leader of Al Qaaadis.

The organization has taken over swathes of territory and has set up camps to recruit young people in a bid to establish a caliphate.

Al Ahrar al-Shariah, which translates to Islamic Justice and Peace Movement, is a loose umbrella group of various Islamist movements in Syria.

It includes the Free Syrian Army, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Free Syria Army, Ahrar ash-Sham and others.

The aim is to create a Muslim state in Syria in which there are no minorities and no Islamic institutions.

Al Hamza: Al Hamazi is a rebel group that was formed by defectors from al Nusrah in Syria and other al Qaeda groups in the Middle East.

Al Ghouta, Syria is a city where rebels have been fighting for a long time.

The government has been battling Al Hamzi, which means “liberation” in Arabic.

Al Hijra: Al Hjra is a
